This week we turn to 21 year old Sam Fender who recently dropped // Play God. The track is an indie rock banger. The subject matter is one of societal turmoil and political tyranny. The omniscient lyrics we felt were rather apt in a time of such political upheaval. The guitar riffs drive the song forward whilst Sam’s vocals add a soulful dimension, this is particularly powerful in the pre chorus and chorus. A driving song to give you that motivation to kick start the week after the bank holiday.
